1 Acceptance of Terms

By registering or using 8-Diverge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

2 Platform Role

8-Diverge is a marketplace platform that connects verified users (clients) with qualified service providers. We do not directly provide services. Our role is limited to facilitating connections between users.

3 User Categories & Verification

All users must be verified. The platform recognises the following categories:

• Users — Verified individuals using the app either as clients or service providers
• Interactive Providers — Verified individuals offering social/interactive services
• Freelancers — Verified individuals with optional certifications
• Professionals — Verified individuals with mandatory licences

4 Service Agreements Between Users

Users communicate via chat, voice, or video to agree on:

• Service details
• Pricing
• Duration (optional)
• Location (if applicable)

5 Payments

• Payments are conducted outside the app
• Accepted methods include mobile money or cash
• Users are responsible for ensuring payment completion

6 Booking Terms

• Users must accept terms before booking
• Providers must agree to terms before offering services
• All interactions are voluntary

7 Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Engage in fraud or scams
• Misrepresent identity or qualifications
• Harass or harm other users
• Use the platform for illegal activities

8 Ratings & Reviews

Users may leave feedback after completed services. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate or fake reviews to maintain the integrity of the platform.

9 Limitation of Liability

8-Diverge is not responsible for:

• Service quality provided by users
• User behaviour or conduct
• Losses resulting from interactions between users

10 Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violations of these terms
• Fraudulent activity
• Misuse of the platform

11 Termination

Users may delete their accounts at any time through the app (Menu → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting support. Upon deletion, your data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. See our Account Deletion page for full instructions.

12 Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13 Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda.
